I have recently had an Oesophagectomy following diagnosis of Barretts Oesophagus. The post operative histology of the Barrett’s showed early cancerous cells. So I am delighted to know the operation I elected to have was the right decision to make. Right from the initial meeting prior to the operation, Mr Awad gave me clear concise details of what would happen during the operation and post operative stages of the procedure. After the operation and subsequent recovery, the rate of progress towards eating and drinking has been as predicted and very successful. I would have every reason to recommend Mr Awad as a totally competent and caring surgeon.
